Information in this document applies to any platform.
Extract or Replicat fail to start up with the following ODBC error:
2011-03-02 11:11:07 GGS ERROR 118 Database operation failed: Couldn't connect to TDWPDVLP. ODBC error: SQLSTATE 28000 native database error 0. [Teradata][ODBC Teradata Driver] Not enough information to log on.
Any user upgrading from ODBC 12.0 to 126.96.36.199 or higher will run into this issue if they do not have the userid and password in the parameter file. Since the userid and password are optional, a lot of users may not have this setup. This will then require parameter file changes when upgrading from 12.0 to 13.0.
