"The logon process was not successful" error after changing the Windows/AD password

Information in this document applies to any platform.


The following error messages are generated by Logon Manager after a user's Windows/Active Directory password is changed:

1. The new password is provided to Logon Manager and the following message appears:

      "The Logon Process was not successful"

2. An incorrect password is provided and the following error message is displayed:

      "The logon process was not successful. Please recheck your password and try again."


The Windows/Active Directory password was changed or reset.
