Converted Videos Do Not Show Icon In Search Results Because of the Wrong Case (Doc ID 1305325.1)

Last updated on APRIL 10, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

With the major revision sequence as "A-Z,0-99", the first revision checked in is revision A.  When a video converts and is sent back to the content server, the following files appear in the weblayout folder for the item:

ucm_000007_01~a-presentation1.mp4
ucm_000007_01~a-presentation2.wmv
ucm_000007_01~a-preview.mp4
ucm_000007_01.hcsp
ucm_000007_01@t~A.jpg
ucm_000007_01@z~A.zip

Only the jpg (thumbnail icon) and zip retain the proper case of the revision "A".  When displaying search results using the thumbnail layout, the content server looks for the thumbnail as ucmp_000007_01@t~a.jpg.  This comes back as a 404 error because of the case-sensitivity of the Apache web server.
