How to enforce message when updating virtual column in the object browser (Doc ID 1305401.1)

Goal

When updating a virtual column in the object browser (Data tab), no message is issued until "commit";
The expected message is: "ORA-54017: UPDATE operation disallowed on virtual columns".
How to change this behavior?
