Goal
How to manually create the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g OPMN Process Manager MS Windows Service?
Important Notes:
1. In normal circumstances it should be not be necessary to follow these steps because the MS Windows Process Manager Service is created for you at ASInstance creation time by the Installer / Configuration Wizard. However, if, for some reason, the Service has been deleted, corrupted and/or changed the steps given below should help you resolve the situation.
2. Even if the Process Manager window service does not exist, OPMN works fine. The opmnctl status / startall / stopall commands all work fine. The only caveat is you can not log off the Windows Session where you have started opmn, otherwise the opmn process is stopped.
