Is it possible to filter subitems in just one Resource Catalog ?

When implementing a Catalog Filter, it is only invoked when the top level folders (“ADF Faces Components” or “Portlet Producer”) are displayed. When the “Portlet Producer“ folder in the Resource Catalog is selected, the filter isn’t called. With this functionality it can only be decided that a user can see all or none of the portlets, because only the top level folder “Portlet Producer” is invoked by the filter.

What has to be achieved:

1.) There are two registered portlet producers (“Portlet 1” & “Portlet 2”) in the EM for the WebCenter application
2.) When user A is logged in and opens the Resource Catalog, only Portlet 1 should be appearing under the folder “Portlet Producer”.
3.) When user B is logged in and opens the Resource Catalog, only Portlet 2 should be appearing under the folder “Portlet Producer”.

What is the approach to accomplish this without creating 2 Resource Catalogs?
