WLS-Generated WSDL shows incorrect managed server port number when non-SSL ports are disabled. (Doc ID 1309087.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 10.3.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In WLS 10.3.3, if you disable non-SSL ports and use only SSL ports with Administration port enabled for all WebLogic server instances, you will notice that the deployed Web Service WSDL generated shows incorrect port number of the managed server, when accessed by managed server instance's URL.

Domain configuration details:
Admin Server ports: 7002(SSL port), 9002(Administration Port)
Managed server MgdServer: 7004(SSL port), 9011(Administration Port)

When any deployed Web Service is accessed with the below URL:

https://localhost:7004/ServiceName_Impl/ServiceName_Impl?WSDL

The generated WSDL should have port number 7004, but instead it shows 9011.

NOTE:  The WebLogic Server names and port numbers; WebService application names; others used represent a fictitious sample names that made up as example.  Any similarity to actual code, is purely coincidental and not intended in any other manner.
