Bad FTP Adapter Connections Are Not Removed From The JNDI Connection Pool
(Doc ID 1309155.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 17, 2018
Applies to:Oracle SOA Platform - Version 18.104.22.168.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When using an FTP Adapter to poll an FTP server, a bad connection (bad password, server unavailable) to the FTP server creates a connection in the FTP Adapter JNDI connection pool that is never removed, even after the server becomes available again.
This causes all the available conections in the pool to be used up, and no further connections are allowed and polling stops.
