Last updated on JUNE 17, 2011

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo - Version: 8.1 and later   [Release: and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

CORBA Application server crashes intermittently.

There are two known scenarios:
1) Application server calls ORB:init() with all arguments empty/null. Call will occur many times during the lifetime of the application server. The stack trace for the core file created will not be exactly the same from one crash to the next but will usually include a call to OBB__RegKey_OpenKey().

2)Application server crashes under heavy load with high number of threads used. The stack trace ends at a call to OBB___AllocateList().
