Symptoms

When trying to authenticate to a protected resource the following error is returned after entering username and password:

Unable to authenticate "invalid credentials"


  • This only happens with users who are created via custom java.
  • Trying to set up create user with password in a single IDXML call to oblixIDXML_um_workflowSaveCreateProfile().
  • Created a stub for the webservice um_workflowSaveCreateProfile
  • Use java class to invoke the webservice.
