Symptoms

When attempting to login to the Admin Console or Enterprise Manager of an Oracle WebCenter 11.1.1.4 or later installation as the weblogic user, the following error is displayed:

Error:
User is not authorized to login to WebLogic Domain. User should be part of one or more Administrative roles to be able to login.

Changes

The Identity Store has been configured with an External LDAP, such as OID.

An example of this type of configuration for 11.1.1.4 is shown here:
