Search Results Ignore MaxResults Settings (Doc ID 1311273.1)

Symptoms

Using Content Server 11.1.1.3.0...

When setting MaxResults=1000 in the config.cfg, the first search results will display a total of 50 pages of matching documents.
When performing the same search shortly afterwards, the search results will only display a total of 10 pages.

Expected behaviour:

The search results should be consistent, and should be done according to the MaxResults setting.

Steps to reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Make sure more than 1000 documents are checked in and indexed in Content Server
  2. Make a search without any arguments
    -> Search results page shows 50 pages of matching documents
  3. Make the same search one more
    -> Search results now shows only 10 pages of matching documents
