Using IE, ADF Forms Give an Error: iframeBeginLoad is not a function

Symptoms
The problem is specific to IE7.
In Oracle Webcenter Suite there is a problem with an ADF form included in a portlet. When the portlet is added to the portal and the "ValueChangeListener" radio button is clicked, the following message is returned:
A connection to the server has failed
When executing the portlet as a standalone application without adding it to WebCenter, the error does not occur.
Also, the following error message is thrown when trying to load the page which contain the ADF form included in a portlet.:
parent.AdfDhtmlPortletPeer.iframeBeginLoad is not a function
