Symptoms


After deploying the ExtendWebCenterSpaces with a custom site template and attempting to update any of the properties under Group Space -> Settings -> General Tab,
the following error is displayed:


WCS#YYYY.MM.DD.HH.MI.SS: Unknown error occurred. Please contact Administrator.



This error reproduced with the SampleSiteTemplate by clicking in any of the
following check boxes of the group space using the template:


Despite the error it seems the changes are applied.


STEPS

  1. Deploy the SampleSiteTemplate (or any custom site template) to WebCenter Spaces according to the following technical brief:

    Extending WebCenter Spaces (11.1.1.2.0 and 11.1.1.3.0)

  2. After deploying the custom site template go to WebCenter spaces.

  3. Create a Group Space.

  4. Go to the Group Space -> Settings -> General Tab.

  5. Change the Site Template to the SampleSiteTemplate and click Apply.

  6. Now click on any of the following check boxes of the group space using the template:
    • Discoverable
    • State
    • Enable RSS Publishing

    This should reproduce the error.
