The Web Server with it's Reverse Proxy Plugin (RRP) functionality is able to pass SSL security
information to a backend server via HTTP headers. This can include elements such as:
- Cipher used
- Key size
- Distinguished name (DN)
- Client Certificate (in base64 format)
This article provide a example of how to access a client certificate behind the RPP in Web Server 7.0 using a Java application resident on a backend server.
