Symptoms

In an Application Server 10.1.2.3.0 environment on HP-UX IA64, the proxy requests fail with an HTTP 502 error if the ProxyPass directive contains an IP address in the URL.

The configuration in $ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf/httpd.conf (or any of the files included by httpd.conf) must contain ProxyPass directives including the IP address like in the following example:
