Unable to Input Details for Webcenter Events when Role Permissions are Set to 'Create Events' and 'View Events' (Doc ID 1314797.1)

Symptoms

It is not possible to set any properties for new Events even though the user has the correct 'Create Events' privilege.

The 'Create Events' & 'View Events' privileges are set for a role, using the Advanced Privileges option. All other Events permissions are deselected.
This allows users in this role to see events and they can select the 'Create Event' icon.
However, the event entry form does not allow any input - all fields are greyed-out.

The Create Events functionality works fine when the additional 'Edit Events' permission option is selected, but this gives some additional privileges.
