Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0 Crashes In Ssl_snisocketconfighook Function (Doc ID 1319323.1)

Symptoms

Web Server 7.0U9 receiving regular SIGSEGV signals and respawning.

When this issue occurs, the following is seen in the Web Server error log:

[21/Mar/2011:05:29:34] catastrophe ( 6167): CORE3260: Server crash detected (signal SIGSEGV)
[21/Mar/2011:05:29:34] info ( 6167): CORE3262: Crash occurred in function SSL_SNISocketConfigHook from module /app/ws/sjsws/7.0/builds/sjsws7.0u9/lib/libssl3.so
[21/Mar/2011:05:30:12] info ( 8504): CORE3050: Spawning replacement for worker process 6167

A corefile is also created.
