Warning Messages thrown by Message Driven Beans during WLP Application Deployment
(Doc ID 1319326.1)
Last updated on SEPTEMBER 28, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Portal - Version 10.3.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When deploying a WLP application to a WLP 10.3.x server, the following warning messages are thrown in the server stdout and once deployed, the state of the application is 'Warning':
Message-DrivenEJB: MessageBufferQueueBean is unable to connect to the JMS destination: weblogic.portalApp.WlwRuntimeAppScopedJMS#MSG_BUFFER_QUEUE. The Error was:Can not get distribute destination information. The destination JNDI name is weblogic.portalApp.WlwRuntimeAppScopedJMS#MSG_BUFFER_QUEUE, the provider URL is null
Message-DrivenEJB: MessageBufferTopicBean is unable to connect to the JMS destination: weblogic.portalApp.WlwRuntimeAppScopedJMS#MSG_BUFFER_TOPIC. The Error was:Can not get distribute destination information. The destination JNDI name is weblogic.portalApp.WlwRuntimeAppScopedJMS#MSG_BUFFER_TOPIC, the provider URL is null
This problem is documented in the WLP 10.3 release notes (see note for CR376380) as an issue that can be safely ignored, however this document presents a workaround solution to resolve these JMS related warning messages and to ensure that the application's state is 'OK' rather than 'Warning'.
