ODI Studio - Unable to Configure LDAP Server Authentication Without Clear Password Information

ODI 220.127.116.11.0 being configured to achieve connectivity to an Active Director LDAP over SSL.
The installation is using standalone ODI Agent and ODI Studio.
We are using ODI's External Authentication mechanism which one sets up by creating a "jps-config.xml" file.
There is no instruction in the ODI documentation as to how to set up this xml file, so we created an Oracle SR for instruciton. That was in the SR that is referred to when this ticket was created.
Now that we have the external authentication working, we need to know how to modify the jps-config.xml file so that it stores the password in non-plaintext e.g. "encrypted".
