Symptoms

An application is not able to complete its search against a DS backend, and gets in the errors log the message "slapd_poll timed out" e.g.

[05/May/2011:13:52:59 -0600] - DEBUG - conn=7252 op=-1 msgId=-1 - slapd_poll timed out during write on connection between <IP>:38272 and... <SNIP>
