Are Case Insensitive Collations Supported With UCM 11g and Microsoft SQL Server? (Doc ID 1321444.1)

Goal

The current Oracle Fusion Middleware System Requirements and Specifications documentation specifies that when installing UCM against a Microsoft SQL Server backend database, the following case sensitive collation must be used: SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CS_AS.

Is there a reason for this case sensitive collation being specified, and if case insensitivity is required, are case insensitive collations supported?
