After Patching to PS3 or Higher OPatch lsinventory in Oracle_Common Home Still shows (Doc ID 1322066.1)

After patching from to (PS3) (applies to higher versions as well), running opatch lsinventory against the oracle_common Oracle Home still shows version

For example:

Setting ORACLE_HOME=MID_HOME/oracle_common
and navigating into MID_HOME/oracle_common/OPatch/

Running the following opatch command generates the following:

opatch lsinventory
