Information in this document applies to any platform.
You have a number of adapters in your system, and you observe that on shutdown, messages continue to be dequeued. But because BPEL is shutting down, the messages are moved to the rejectedMessages folder. These could be any of the following technology adapters: Apps, AQ, MQ, Database, JMS, file/FTP.
