11g Load-Balanced Reports Instances Do Not Get Listed in the Showjobs Page (Doc ID 1323396.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Reports is load balanced using Webcache as a part of High Availability setup. When a showjobs page is run, it normally lists the Clustered Reports Servers in a drop-down box.

http://<host>:<web_cache_port>/reports/rwservlet/showjobs?


However, there is a scenario where these Clustered Reports Servers are not picked up and do not show up in the showjobs page.

Changes

Set up Reports High Availability.
