SOA Server Does not Start: Undefined Symbol

Symptoms
After installing JRockit 160_24-R28.1.3-64, WebLogic Server 10.3.2 generic, a WLS domain was created with an Admin server and one managed server.
Then it was installed SOA Suite 11.1.1.2.0 and extended the original domain by adding a second managed server.
The Admin server and original managed server started fine. However, the second managed server failed to start with the following error:
To verify this issue, another SOA Suite domain was created with one managed server. The Admin server started without a problem, but the managed server failed with the same symbol lookup error exhibited by the original domain.
Changes
The Environment was changed: There was a link to /opt/oms-10.1/lib/libxerces-c.so.27 added on the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
This offending file was added by the user.
