Inst-07242 While Expanding Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g IDM Cluster on Second Node (Doc ID 1324425.1)

Symptoms

This issue occurs when installing Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Identity Management (IDM) on multiple nodes in highly available environment.  IDM was installed on the first node and config.sh completed successfully without any errors. When trying to expand the cluster on the second node, it fails with the following error:

INST-07242 Unable to connect to Oracle Weblogic Middleware Administration Server

Make sure Oracle Administration Server is up and hostname, port, user name and administration password are correct.

 
The Weblogic Admin Server is up and running and the Admin Console is accessible with no problems.

The following error is reported in the log file install<timestamp>.log:
