Symptoms

When committing to I/PM 10g (direct) the following error is received:

Error: 40008
The following error occurred while attempting to commit the batch:

Error Number: 506
Error Description: FieldName field value xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is invalid. Please check the field length and data type.
