Goal
Chapter 13 of the Administrator's Guide for Oracle Directory Integration Platform 11g Release 1 describes how to create an HR Synchronization Profile using the prepackaged profile and then refers back to Chapter 10 for the specific steps.
Chapter 10 is mainly dedicated to the creation of profiles using the Enterprise Manager interface, thus giving the impression that Enterprise Manager can be used to create the prepackaged HR profile. In fact, this is not possible. In DIP 11g the HRAgent profile can only be created through the WLST command ManageSyncProfiles, which is only discussed in Chapter 10 at the end, after Enterprise Manager.
This document briefly describes the steps necessary to create the HR Synchronization Profile using the ManageSyncProfiles command.
