Glassfish Domain Stops When Closing Terminal Session When in "asadmin" Mode. (Doc ID 1325117.1)

When starting the Glassfish Domain Administration Server (DAS) in "asadmin" mode from a remote terminal session, abrupt termination of the session will stop the DAS and it's instances.


Symptoms

If the Glassfish Domain Administration Server (DAS) is started within "asadmin" mode as below,


and if the terminal session (ssh, telnet, PuTTy, etc....) is terminated abruptly, the DAS will stop.
