Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Adaptive Access Manager - Version 11.1.1.3.0 to 11.1.2.0.0 [Release 11gR1 to 11gR2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
OAAM 11G Sample Application running in parallel with OAAM Server

Symptoms

OAAM sample login fails with constraint violation in this specific case

When a new user logs in from oaam_server and then from OAAM sample then  the user fails due to constraint violation on vcrypt_users. When a new user logs from OAAM sample then logs in from oaam_server login is fine

Changes

This is a typical setup scenario

  1. Setup OAAM sample and oaam_server such that they co-exist (in different domains) and are sending logins to same OAAM schema as target.
  2. When a new user logs from OAAM sample --> then logs in from oaam_server login is fine.
  3. When a new user logs in from oaam_server and then from OAAM sample the user fails due to a constraint violation on vcrypt_users.

Constraint being violated is v_users_uk2 , (V_USERS_UK2 is on VCRYPT_USERS for LOGIN_ID+GROUP_ID)
