nsslapd-maxpsearch â maximum number of persistent searches
Defines the maximum number of persistent searches that can be
on Directory Server. The persistent search mechanism provides an
channel through which entries that change, and information about
that occur, can be communicated. Because each persistent search
uses one thread, limiting the number of simultaneous persistent
searches prevents clients from locking up thread resources.
