Symptoms

Rows in a transient view object for which rows are created programmatically looses its rows upon sorting the data in the table. This happens when "Enable Application Module Pool" is disabled to test passivation/activiation. Upon sorting the data the created records are lost. It works fine when the application module pool is enabled.

Rows are created as follows (method in ApplicationImpl class):

public void createRows() {
  System.out.println("method createRows");
  ViewObjectImpl vo = getVO_PR_Test1();
  for(int i = 0; i < 10; i++) {
    VO_PR_TestRowImpl row = (VO_PR_TestRowImpl)vo.createRow();
    row.setCode("C" + i);
    row.setDescription("Description for item " + i);
    vo.insertRow(row);
  }
  vo.setQueryMode(ViewObject.QUERY_MODE_SCAN_VIEW_ROWS);
}
