COREid Access - Version: 10.1.4 and later   [Release: 10g and later ]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Some application users are locked out and are unable to login to the site. The application is protected by Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 10g.

OAM is configured with a password policy that requires a user to reset their password after 90 days.

The users who are unable to login last reset their password about 3 months ago, however they have not been redirected by OAM to reset their password. Instead OAM login fails with error 'invalid credentials'.

If the users' passwords are maually reset in the LDAP Server, the users can then login successfully.

Steps to reproduce

1. Access the OAM-protected application.
2. When the OAM login page is displayed, login with username and password known to be valid previously.
3. Login fails: either the login page is redisplayed with empty fields or the user is redirected to an error page.
