Seeing "(Too many open files)" Errors While the Number of Open Files is Lower than Permitted by the "nofile" ULimit Setting (Doc ID 1327790.1)

You have an installation of Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g on a Linux platform and are starting the WebLogic Managed Server for the SOA component from the NodeManager.
The SOA managed server starts successfully and the soa-infra application initializes, so you are able to access SOA composites from Enterprise manager Fusion Middleware Control.

However, you cannot successfully deploy a new SOA composite or (in the case of a migration) execute any default or previously deployed composite and encounter errors similar to the following in the server log file for the WebLogic Managed Server where the SOA component is running:.
