Purpose

This document should be used to assist in troubleshooting an ORA-1017 error when attempting to login to Portal 3.0.9.x.

However, please note that the 9i Application Server Release 1 (1.0.2.2 and 1.0.2.2.x) were desupported June 30th, 2004. This means we cannot log new bugs and neither can we commit to meet the usual support timescales attached to Severity levels. Support is a 'best efforts' basis.

We strongly recommend that you upgrade to a current release which is supported.
