Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Containers for J2EE - Version 10.1.3.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading from 10.1.3.4 to 10.1.3.5 application server , user's sessions are getting invalidated/lost almost as soon as they are created. For e.g:-

User navigates to the J2EE application URL, and is presented with the login page.
User enters his/her credentials and after successful authentication a session is created and the user is taken to the application home page.
Immediately after this when the user tries to do anything on the application like opening any menu, he/she is taken to the session expired page suggesting that the session is no longer valid(or lost)
