Login Redirection on an Infinite Loop Between login.jspx and login.html With a Custom WebCenter Portal Application (Doc ID 1331162.1)

Symptoms

When accessing the home.jspx page of a custom WebCenter Portal Framework application, it redirects to login.jspx and then redirects to login.html and this goes into an infinite loop.

The custom WebCenter Portal Framework application is created with default configurations and it is deployed as a standalone application to a WebCenter Portal domain.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Create a custom WebCenter Portal Framework application with all defaults.
2. Deploy to a custom managed server in a Webcenter Portal domain.
3. Access the home.jspx page in the WebCenter Portal Framework application.
