ORA-12899: value too large for column "DEV_OCS"."WEBDAVLOCK"."DDOCNAME" When Trying To Save A Document Through Webfolders (Doc ID 1331463.1)

Symptoms

Using Content Server 11.1.1.4 on Linux

When trying to save a document into a webfolder and the contribution is happening inside the 3rd or 4th level of the folder hierarchy, then the following error occurs:

Webdav Error: "Word did not save the document (Test.doc)".


Following error appears in the Content Server log file:

Unable to execute service WEBDAV_LOCK and function webdavLock.
Unable to execute query 'IwebdavLock(INSERT INTO WebdavLock (lID, lType, lIsVirtual, dDocName, lPath, lScope, lOwner, dUser,
lDepth, lIsSaved, lExpirationDate, lTimeout) VALUES ('XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX', 'write', 0, '/CONTRIBUTION FOLDERS/TEST3/LONGEST FOLDER 1/LONGEST FOLDER 2/TEST.DOC', '', 'exclusive', '<owner>scott</owner>', 'weblogic', '0', 0, {ts '2011-06-15 15:51:19.203'}, 360000))'. ORA-12899: value too large for column "PROD_OCS"."WEBDAVLOCK"."DDOCNAME" (actual: 70, maximum: 50)
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column "DEV_OCS"."WEBDAVLOCK"."DDOCNAME" (actual: 70, maximum: 50).
