Logon Manager Will Not Start At Logon On Windows Vista and Windows 7. (Doc ID 1331674.1)

Symptoms

With User Access Control enabled on Windows 7 and Windows Vista, the Logon Manger component will complete installation with no errors, but the agent will not load automatically at logon as expected.  This is due to a failure to populate the following registry entry;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\userinit


This Registry entry is a comma separated list of processes to launch at user logon.  A successful Logon manager installation will add the following value to this registry entry;

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Passlogix\v-GO SSO\wts\ssolauncher.exe" /startsso
