JNDI naming exception:javax.naming.NameNotFoundException when using the weblogic.Admin utility (Doc ID 1334090.1)

When attempting to get the state of a server using the weblogic.Admin command-line interface (see below), the following error occurs.

java weblogic.Admin -url <host>:<port> -username <username> -password <password> GETSTATE <serverName>


JNDI naming exception:javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: While trying to lookup '' didn't find subcontext 'home'. Resolved '' [Root exception is javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: While trying to lookup '' didn't find subcontext 'home'. Resolved '']; remaining name 'home/localhome'
