Symptoms

This is a coding issue when trying to extend WebCenter Spaces using JDeveloper. The following documentation has been used:

Oracle® Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle WebCenter 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.4.0)
53 Extending WebCenter Spaces Using JDeveloper

The DesignWebCenterSpaces.jws has been extended by a template containing a reference to a .swf (flash animation) file.

The template.jspx has the following in it :-

<embed height="60" align="middle" width="944" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" salign="" allowscriptaccess="sameDomain" allowfullscreen="false" menu="true" name="anim3" bgcolor="#ffffff" devicefont="false" wmode="transparent" scale="showall" loop="true" play="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="high"
src="/webcenter/oracle/webcenter/siteresources/scopedMD/shared/anim3.swf"/>

Running it locally works fine, but when the application is deployed, the flash is not appearing and this URL is giving a 404 error.
