Symptoms

 

DPS Client:
  • DPS client connections are not responding at all from time to time.

DPS access log:
  • The corresponding access log shows the following Exception error messages:
02/Jun/2011:16:31:37 +0200] - DISCONNECT - INFO  - conn=1317882 reason="other" msg="Exception caught while polling client connection LDAPS.X.Y.Z.W.64087 -- java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer"
[02/Jun/2011:16:31:37 +0200] - DISCONNECT - INFO  - conn=1318064 reason="other" msg="Exception caught while polling client connection LDAPS.X.Y.Z.W.65447 -- java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer"
[02/Jun/2011:16:31:37 +0200] - DISCONNECT - INFO  - conn=1318067 reason="other" msg="Exception caught while polling client connection LDAPS.X.Y.Z.W.37014 -- java.io.IOException: Connection reset by peer"

DPS Error Log:
  • There is no error message reported in the DPS error log
