Last updated on FEBRUARY 25, 2019

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Adding a user to a group in OID after the group is granted view privileges to a group space is causing the user to see errors when viewing the Spaces Pages. They are seeing errors like "User '<USER>' is not authorized" for announcements. Forums also show not found errors when they access the group space first time.

The following is seen in the logs:

[ERROR] [] [<CLASS>.handler.DefaultFaultHandler] [tid: [ACTIVE].ExecuteThread: '4' for queue: 'web
logic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'] [ecid: <ECID>] [APP: owc_discussions#11.1.1.2.0] Fault occurred![[
