"User Is Not Authorized" Error When Viewing WebCenter Portal Announcements After LDAP Group Membership Change

Symptoms
Adding a user to a group in OID after the group is granted view privileges to a group space is causing the user to see errors when viewing the Spaces Pages. They are seeing errors like "User '<USER>' is not authorized" for announcements. Forums also show not found errors when they access the group space first time.
