After an upgrade from WebLogic 9.2 MP3 to MP4, managed servers are taking a long time to reach the RUNNING state.
1. Create a simple domain on WebLogic 9.2 MP3
2. Upgrade WebLogic to 9.2 MP4
2.1 Look for the unpublished bug 9955586 and download the patch.
2.2 Uncompress the file p9955586_924_Linux-x86-64.zip. You will get the upgrade installer file: server924_upgrade_generic.jar
2.3 Perform the upgrade by executing:
$ java -d64 -jar server924_upgrade_generic.jar
3. Once the upgrade is finished, go back to the domain directory.
4. Set the domain environment.
5. Bring up the servers.
IPv6 support was introduced in WebLogic 9.2 MP4.
