Installing OID Password Filter Fails With: Error occurred while uploading prepAD.ldif (Doc ID 1338512.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) / Directory Integration Platform (DIP).

Installing Password Filter fails with error:

Error occurred while uploading prepAD.ldif. , please refer to %TEMP%\orclidmpwf.log. Please upload
prepAD.ldif to Active Directory Domain Controller before applying ACLs.


The last entries in the orclidmpwf.log are as follow:

(Jul 13, 2011 7:10:36 AM), Install, com.oracle.installshield.adpwd.ldapModify, dbg, C:\Program Files\oracle\ADPasswordFilter\prepAD.ldif
(Jul 13, 2011 7:10:36 AM), Install, com.oracle.installshield.adpwd.ldapModify, err, in LDAPOperation

]
