Unable to Start Up Oracle iPlanet Web or Proxy Server Admin or Server Instance - "ld.so.1: parsexml: fatal: relocation" and "ld.so.1: proxyd: fatal: libjvm.so: open failed" errors (Doc ID 1339124.1)

Symptoms

When you attempt to start up Oracle iPlanet Web or Proxy admin server or regular server instance(s), the following error occurs.

e.g.:


1. iplanet web proxy 4.0SPx,

root@host1# /path/proxy-admserv/start
ld.so.1: parsexml: fatal: relocation error: file parsexml: symbol __RTTI__1nMXMLException_:
referenced symbol not found
ld.so.1: parsexml: fatal: relocation error: file parsexml: symbol __RTTI__1nMXMLException_:
