Symptoms
Receiving an error when attempting to login to the Distributed Capture client:
Failed to Login
The following error occurred while attempting to login:
Login failed.
Error number:20047
Error Description: [The following error occurred during login.
Error Description: 20046
Error Number: Error [Automation error
Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. ] on line [12] Domain=[testdomain] UserID=[TESTUSER1] The User Name and Password entered could not be validated. Please try again.]
Other times they are able to login and receive the following error:
Error loading Database Lookup Profile
Error in GetDBLookupProfile. Line: 4. Error Number: -2147191493. Error Desc: Login failed.
Error number: 20046
Error Description: [The User Name and Password entered could not be validated. Please try again.]
