Delete operation for any content not getting tracked by the Content Tracker (Doc ID 1339711.1)

Last updated on APRIL 10, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.3.0 to 11.1.1.5.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

By default, the Delete operation for any content should be tracked by the Content tracker.

In the documentation of content tracker for 11g, it is mentioned that if any service that causes an entry to be made in the DocHistory table, then it will be tracked. This will happen regardless of whether the service, (for example, DELETE_REV) is defined in the Content Tracker services table .

But this default tracking for any delete operations on a content doesn't seems to be working. There are no entries in the SctAccessLog table of the database showing any sort of information regarding the delete operation.
