Applying An One-Off OIDDAS Patch Fails With: Required component(s) missing : [ oracle.oid.oradas, 10.1.4.3.0 ] / OPatch failed with error code 74 (Doc ID 1341775.1)

Symptoms

Delegated Administrative Services (DAS or OIDDAS) 10g, i.e. 10.1.4.3, integrated with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 10g or 11g.

Applying a one-off DAS Patch, such as DAS <Patch:8979659> or <Patch:7829624>, fails:

$ opatch apply -invPtrLoc $ORACLE_HOME/oraInst.loc
